broadbent vinho verde
Broadbent
Vinho Verde
$7.99

Vinho Verde, the classic eppervescent white from northern Portugal, is the perfect summer sipping white.. This is produced from indegenous grape varietals- Arinto, Trajadura and Loureiro. On the palate, it is clean and crisp with a touch of sparkly goodness.  Shrimp cocktail makes a good pairing for this summer delight.

ulacia 2011

Nicolas Ulacia
2011 Txakolina
$18.99

From Getaria in the Basque speaking area of the northern coast of Spain, this is the perfect ultimate seafood white.  Produced from the local Hondarribi Zuri grape, this is light with zesty acidity and a touch of eppervescence. This begs for grilled shellfish or salty charcuterie dishes. If you like Vinho Verde this is the perfect candidate for something new and interesting!

argiolas nuragus
Argiolas Selegas
2011 Nuragus di Cagliari
$15.99

From the island of Sardinia, Nuragus di Cagliari is the name of a local grape varietal.
Ripe pears and apricots are present with a touch of herbaceousness and lavender on the aroma. At nearly 2,000 feet of elevation  in a majority  of limestone soil, the terroir adds enough acidity and minerality  to compliment the richness and fruitiness. Think of Viognier and Inzolia wrapped into one!
prunotto dolcetto
Prunotto
2011 Dolcetto D'alba
$16.99

Located  in the central part of the Langhe Hills in Piedmont, this winery has been owned  by Antinori since 1989. Produced from Dolcetto, an often underrated Piedmontese grape, this winemaker expresses it in a more new world style with cherries and soft tannins on the palate. Fun for a summer barbecue and lighter poultry dishes. Try as an alternative to Bardolino or other light Italian reds.

Save 10 percent on any mixed case of wine or beer, excluding conflicts with Connecticut minimum bottle pricing. Gift wrapping is always complimentary.
