Tasting notes: This off-dry sparkling wine is lively with floral and citrus notes jumping from the glass. The palate has distinct flavors of lemon and green apple with a round, fruity texture.
More Tasting notes: Pale lemon in color. Citrus with a Mojito edge on the nose. Fresh fizz with lemon and white melon flavors
Pairings: Salty cheeses like gorgonzola, aged gouda, feta, or parmesan, Spicy Thai or Indian dishes. For proteins, think duck, pork, and bacon. On the seafood side, fried shrimp or clams.

Winery notes: Our flagship Cabernet Sauvignon is bound to please those who savor rich, fruit-forward and smooth California Cabs. The wine is crafted from grapes primarily grown in California's Red Hills Lake County, an AVA that lies about an hour north of Calistoga in Napa Valley. There, vineyards fan out on hillsides of an extinguished volcano and climb to over 2,000 feet above sea level. The elevation slows ripening in an otherwise hot and dry climate, resulting in balanced acids and sugars.
Tasting Notes: Deep ruby in color with aromas of cedar and blackberry on the nose. Full-bodied yet smooth and easy-drinking, the wine showcases bright red cherry, hints of spice, smoke and a long, toasty finish with expressive acidity.

Tasting Notes: Hints of chocolate, leather, vanilla, and spicy grains, balanced by slightly sweet and oaky tones.
Bourbon Obsessed Review: As readers of my reviews know, I’m not a big rye fan because the ones I’ve tasted always seem to be over-the-top with spice. Not this one. It’s surprisingly mild for a rye, and if I didn’t know the mash bill ahead of time, I would guess this was a bourbon. The light rye on the nose gets masked by peppermint and honey. The light flavors on the tongue quickly get overshadowed by a medium to long finish that kicks the rye properties into high gear.
Conclusion: Bourbon lovers often complain, and rightly so, about rising bourbon prices. So when you find a gem like this, grab as much as you can. It will make a terrific Manhattan or Old Fashioned, but it’s good enough to drink neat or on the rocks. This swanky standard is said to have been invented in the early 1870s at — where else? — the Manhattan Club in New York City.
2 ounces Ezra Brooks 99 Straight Rye Whiskey
.75 ounce sweet vermouth
1 dash bitters
Luxardo Cherry for garnish
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice. Stir gently, then strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a Luxardo cherry.
