Hello Windsor!
While Memorial Day is the unofficial start of summer, it is more importantly a time to honor all those who lost their lives while defending our country. Please take a moment on Monday, May 29, to remember all the men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedom.
On behalf of the Town Council and Town Staff, I would like to extend a huge congratulations to all the “Graduates” in our community. We want to take a moment to recognize you as you are preparing to graduate from high school or getting ready to leave middle school, finishing up elementary, or returning home from college. Your perseverance and determination to complete your studies make us all proud. I hope you have a wonderful summer; you have earned it.
Remember that June is National Pride Month. Please join Mayor Reynoza, the Councilmembers, and I, on Thursday, June 1, at 9AM, in front of the Civic Center flag poles as we raise the Pride flag and honor our LGBTQ + community, family, and friends.
As always, if you'd like to get the Insider sent directly to your email inbox, go to our Notify Me page to sign up. Please let us know what you think -- we welcome your feedback.

SPOTLIGHT - TOWN CLERK'S OFFICE | |
|
The Town is proud to introduce you to the Town Clerk’s Office. The Town Clerk’s Office consists of a team of 5; the Town Clerk, Deputy Town Clerk, Senior Administrative Assistant and 2 Audio Visual Technicians. Among them all, they are extremely busy processing records requests allowing the submitter to gain access to Town records while gathering and processing election paperwork, administering oaths of office, legislative administration, and managing all televised Town meetings.
“We strive to provide exceptional public service with integrity and impartiality, while carrying out the responsibilities as mandated by the States”, says Irene Camacho-Werby, Town Clerk.
Due to the pandemic the Town Clerk’s Office was responsible for and handled all virtual and visual meeting services. While most of us were learning how to navigate Zoom, they too had to ensure all the attendees had access to every meeting the Town held. They assisted and ensured all attendees had the option to hear the broadcast, view the meeting without flaws, and always were available to accept a raised hand. Today even though the requirements for meetings have changed, the Town Clerk’s Office will continue to provide exceptional virtual services.
“We enjoy serving the community and creating opportunities to expand access to information”, says Ms. Camacho-Werby.
The Town Clerk’s Office is always available if you have questions, and they are easy to reach. You can email them at: townclerk@townofwindsor.com or visit the Town Clerk’s Office webpage at: https://www.townofwindsor.com/287/Town-Clerk or by phone at (707) 838-5315.

Construction activities have begun on the Shiloh Crossing project at 295 Shiloh Road (on the southeast side of Home Depot). This mixed-use, affordable apartment project will include two buildings. A four-story building will face Shiloh Road with an entry plaza, ground floor commercial space, and 48 apartments.
Behind this building, there will be a five-story building that is oriented to Business Park Court. This building will include 125 apartments, a community room, swimming pool, bocce court, community garden, fitness room, and other amenities. Access to the site will be provided via two driveways on Business Park Court, with parking tucked behind the buildings.
The project is designed with energy and water efficiency measures, including solar arrays over the carports. The new units are anticipated to be available in Fall 2024.
