We would like to take a moment, as we close out the Summer season, to review one of our policies that tends to generate more questions than others. Regarding food and drinks at our pools (including The Lagoon), residents are more than welcome to bring their favorite beverages in glass-free containers, but drinks cannot be taken out into the open water. The rule of thumb has been if you can reach the edge with your drink, to set it down, no harm. If drinks are taken into the water, you can expect a nudge from staff to move closer to the deck/boardwalk. As an operator of private facilities, we have implemented rules to ensure the continuous operation of our pool equipment. We have incurred expensive repairs and inconvenienced our residents with equipment-related closures, which we try very hard to minimize.
