The Fitness Center is scheduled to open back up tomorrow, October 8 after having been closed for a week due to renovations and the addition of new equipment. We hope everyone is excited about this great upgrade!

There are some delays in equipment pieces, but they will be delivered early next week and will not require the fitness center to close.

Do you want to participate in the Halloween Home Decorating Contest as a participant or a judge? Then, you're in luck: sign-ups are now open! Judging will take place between Thursday, October 20 through Sunday, October 23. We can't wait to see all of the fabulously decorated homes in preparation for this spooky season!

We are excited to announce an upcoming project, which will help restore the landscape screening many of our residents lost after the devastating winter storm in 2021. For those who had Loropetalum along the open fencing behind your homes, help is on the way!

The Loropetalum that died after the storm was replaced by Nandinas, which our rabbit population thoroughly enjoyed. Since the Nandina has not had a chance to establish itself, rather than a 3rd round of replacements, we are switching to Texas Sage

Even better is that we are installing 5-gallon Texas Sage (vs. 3-gallon Nandina, which is all we could find in such large quantities). Look for this project to be done sometime later in the month, as we continue with our fall plantings.

We are now officially in the off-season at Windsong Ranch! Effective October 1, guests entering the facility with residents are free, and wristbands are no longer required. The limit of 5 guests per household per day still applies. For more information, please visit The Lagoon page on our website

Reminder: the Lagoon is open year-round. Hours and weekly schedule remain the same:

Monday: Closed*

* - Open Columbus Day (Oct. 10)

Tuesday-Thursday: 12 PM-30 minutes after sunset

Friday-Sunday: 10 AM-30 minutes after sunset

Open water swimming times have ended and will start again next season.

Even if it's too cold for a dip in the crystal-clear waters, you can still enjoy this beautiful amenity and scenic views of the community!

Now available at The Lagoon is a floating beach wheelchair that can easily travel across sand and float in water. This is a great addition to make our beautiful amenity even more accessible.
