Batman #32
|
Hey Folks
,
Maybe I should really start using my twitter and snapchat accounts, but then I never find enough time in the day to get everything done as it is so we shall see. Still it's on the agenda and will hopefully be useful in announcing sales and intriguing finds from my vault. Recently I've changed up the web-site
www.wildtimecomics.com and continue adding to it which is where you will also find announcements of all manner. In house I've been restructuring the store, building shelves, stocking back-issues, installing lighting and gathering together all the needed materials for the fast approaching Halloween Comicfest on Sat. Oct. 28th and I'm making good headway. I'm sure you'll find the new lighting and designs comfortable and useful just as soon as I get the last of the extra stuff out of the way.
Speaking of Halloween Comicfest, things are coming together nicely for what will be a great event. Joining us this year are Jeff Haas and Frankie B Washington, two of the creative team behind Nightmare Patrol, a locally produced comic teaming such creatures as a werewolf, golem, witch and vampire together for some monstrous adventure ( yeah, pun intended ). We've also got cosplayers, creatures and much more in the works and we'll be updating you all the way there, certainly though this email as well as facebook and perhaps even twitter.
Gonna give a little plug for our friends over at the incredible FEAR TOWN haunt in the woods behind the Seekonk Speedway on rte 6. This is one of our favorite haunts that has never let us down. It's a 45 minute romp through multiple murderous scenarios manned by an assortment of eerie and eccentric characters that are not to be missed. And as an added attraction our son Ethan joins the crazy cast this year on Friday nights to send some shivers up your spine. We've got some discount coupons on hand also so if you like a little walk on the dark side grab some and bring some friends for a damn good night of fright.
On to comics ... Hey! Wolverine is back. Yes the one that seemingly died encased in adamantium. When he will actually retake his mantle and comic title remains to be seen, but at least he's back. Tony Stark on the other hand is missing and that will be the premise for the latest storyline as Invincible Iron Man regains it's original numbering along with others like Thor, Captain America, Venom, and more.
The Thing and Johnny ( The Human Torch ) Storm share a title and Darkhawk, Power Pack, Silver Sable and more get one-shots with numbering that continue their original runs. Generations has some neat little stories, but my money is on the legacy stuff which is even hinting at the return of the Fantastic Four. Sweet. Anyway for some of this week's great reads take a peek below.
A GREAT BIG
THANK YOU
FROM
Randy and the Wild Time Crew
