Merit Stones – Volunteers Needed
For the past 20 years, SAS has a tradition of providing each student with a special merit stone to take home at the end of the school year. The merit stone includes the student’s name, school year, teacher name, and a special quality about the child chosen by the teacher. It is wonderful to keep all the stones from your child’s time here at Saint Andrew Catholic School and see all the attributes that make them who they are!
The Merit Stone Committee is looking for volunteers to help write the stones. If you are blessed with the gift of great handwriting, or if you just want to help, please meet in the Parish Hall on Thursday, May 2 from 7:45am till noon. It’s a come and go as you can.
Please email Tara O’Keefe (tokeefetcu@gmail.com) for details on how you can help. Depending on the number of volunteers, the writing takes about three hours, but you are welcome to stay for as little or as long as you want.
