· May is the “Migration Month of the Year” for songbirds.
· Get your hummingbird feeders out.
· All songbirds will be dressed in their brightest breeding colors.
· Our wintering songbirds will leave this month.
· Early nesting birds will bring their young to the feeders.
· The northern Goldfinch will follow the dandelion bloom back to

their breeding grounds leaving us with our resident population of Goldfinch.

· Warblers, Kinglets, and other migrants will be among trees and shrubs.
· Spring planting will provide future homes and food for birds.
· Supplemental foods will enhance the success of nesting birds.
· Don’t forget to offer nesting materials to the birds.
