Happy Holidays to you!
As we begin to celebrate the season we are reminded of those we lost in the Saugus High School tragedy in November and know that they will never be forgotten. Our entire Santa Clarita community came out in force to support #SaugusStrong and together we lift ourselves out of the sadness. Here at WiSH we are in high gear to help make a difference in the weeks and months ahead.
We are here to help them heal.
In addition to raising the funds to quickly put Wellness Centers on the Saugus and Arroyo Seco campuses (centers currently in process), we are dedicated to supporting mental health on all our district campuses. These centers provide safe havens to speak with counselors, unwind, de-stress...they are tech-free places to find resources and information, listen to short seminars on a variety of topics from professionals (such as dealing with anxiety), provide triage services, take yoga, meditation and more.
We are proud to work with a district that understands that mental health is equally as important as physical health.
We are working with generous individual donors through our website and corporate community donors to provide items and services that Saugus needs, including
Westfield Valencia Town Center
, the
LA Kings
,
Home Depot
,
GHP Management Corporation
and
Oakridge Landscape, Inc
. We could not do this without you!
If your company is able to help us provide Saugus with a permanent Wellness Center location on campus (portable and associated services), we appreciate you reaching out to us at WiSH@hartdistrict.org.
There are many ways to give to support the Saugus community (please CONFIRM fundraising sites are legitimate before you give!) - the
#SaugusStrong website
provides some links. Dollars donated to WiSH through our
#SaugusStrong
link on our
website
or our
Facebook Page
will be
100% dedicated to providing items and services related to the Saugus tragedy.
As a 501(c)3 nonprofit, WiSH donations are tax deductible.
