I am a WEE BIT early-it is Saturday afternoon 3/30/24-a BEAUTIFUL sunny spring day here in McDonough, GA.
The “news” this week has been even more DISGUSTING than usual-no need to elaborate further. AND, no sense in trying to watch the “news” on TV!! All lies and ENDLESS commercials............................
ALL lies EXCEPT what little news published about the RESURRECTION of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!!!!!!!!!!!!
The shepherd king David understood the TRUTH and expressed it here:

As I read these Words last night, I reflected back on when JESUS SAVED ME-way back in 1971-53- YES fifty-three years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
SELAH/think about this with me today.
IF you are SAVED, how come/how did YOU get saved????????????????? WHY YOU??
Personally, I was NOT raised in the typical Christian home. MY father was Jewish and my mother a somewhat Christian-neither of which practiced their religion.
I was SENT to the local Churches but stopped going when I came of age to make that decision. I had, of course, heard of Jesus but had no clue as to His life and teachings.
Faith in God-ANY God-held no sway or opinion in my young life............
Today, in this Holy Season, I reflect on the HOW and WHY of my own SALVATION.
Or, as Kris Kristofferson sang WHY ME, LORD?????????????????

I was not BORN AGAIN through any blood line (NOT of blood)!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (
“NOR OF THE WILL OF THE FLESH”-
My mother and daddy were not BORN AGAIN/PROFESSING CHRISTIANS.
I had NO desire to EVER be a Christian, having absolutely no idea what “being” a Christian entailed. No one made me or forced me to go to Church or BE a Christian:
“NOR OF THE WILL OF MAN”
YET somehow??? Jesus SAVED me-little ole me????????????????????????????
That was 53-YES-fifty-three years ago, and YET SOMEHOW it STUCK, is just as real as it was 53, YES, fifty-three years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In fact, it is even MORE real today-53, YES, fifty-three years later and................
IT IS THE ONLY REAL AND EVERLASTING NEWS/TRUTH AVAILABLE today!
THANK GOD THIS WORLD IS NOT OUR HOME!!!!
This world is DOOMED to fail!!! The “news” will NEVER get any better, no matter who wins what in politics, sports, or religion!!!
JESUS CHRIST is the ONLY person who rose from the dead-all other “gods” are either dead or fictitious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do YOU know Him today????????????????
Please don't turn Him away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
