Fun Times to Show Support

Our Bronson Heatlh Foundation team hosted a booth at this year's Bronson Bash summer celebration event for Bronson employees.

The booth was a smash hit because it included a dunk tank which was a fun way to raise donations for our Employee-in-Crisis Fund. Bronson CEO Bill Manns was first in the tank, followed by Foundation President Terry Morrow, and a number of other leaders, physicians and one special children's book character who bravely took on the challenge!

It was a great to share fun and laughs in support of something so meaningful to Bronson employees.

Just Arrived at Bronson Cancer Center - Kalamazoo

This mobile privacy screen was recently delivered to Bronson Cancer Center - Kalamazoo, thanks to funding from Foundation donors.

The screen can easily be wheeled anywhere in the infusion center when there is a need for patient privacy. Staff are able to open it in a matter of seconds to provide not only privacy, but a tranquil outdoor scene.

Equipment like this enhances the experience for patients and families and can make a big difference during what can be a challenging time.

Tee Time to Support Patients and Families

Golfers filled the course for the annual Gene Lewis Hughes Sr. Memorial Golf Outing in Battle Creek. Friends and family celebrated Gene's life by supporting the important work happening at the Bronson Cancer Center in Battle Creek. This year they raised $26,462 for the Cancer Care-Battle Creek Fund which provides assistance in paying for medication, transportation to and from appointments, and nutritional supplements for patients undergoing cancer treatment.

It's always a fun time for the many teams who gather at the Feldpausch Annual Golf Outing. This year golfers played to support a few great causes, including the Bronson Cancer Center - Battle Creek Fund and the Nattaly Brown Child Life and Expressive Arts Endowment.

A total of $16,690 was raised to support services for patients with cancer and for hospitalized children. The Feldpausch Foundation covers all event costs so 100% of the proceeds go directly to fund patient care.

This year's sold-out Karl Kucab Memorial golf outing was a huge success!

The summer afternoon on the course resulted in $49,226 raised in support of Bronson Health Foundation's Cancer Treatment Endowment, which promotes enhanced services and treatment for cancer patients, provides respite opportunities, equipment for patients or family care providers, and supports community-based research.
