Tuscan Wolf Pizzeria
110 Dundas Street West
Whitby, ON
905-493-5500
Nestled near the bustling intersection of Dundas Street West and Brock Street North, lies a culinary gem that has been enchanting locals since 2018. Tuscan Wolf Pizzeria, a quaint, vibrant establishment, has mastered the art of pizza making, thanks to the expertise and passion of its founder, Marco Caveglia.
After attending the prestigious Scuola Italiana Pizzaioli, Marco honed his skills in three distinct pizza styles. His dedication and talent earned him the coveted title of a master pizza chef. Canada beckoned with its diverse food culture and welcoming communities, and Marco saw an opportunity to share his unique perspective on pizza making. Thus, Tuscan Wolf Pizzeria was born, blending traditional Italian techniques with innovative flavors in the heart of Whitby.
Choosing Whitby as the home for Tuscan Wolf Pizzeria was a decision rooted in both strategic vision and a deep appreciation for what this charming town has to offer. Whitby boasts a diverse and discerning population that appreciates quality dining experiences. The town's residents have a sophisticated palate and a love for authentic cuisines, making it an ideal location for a pizzeria dedicated to traditional Italian flavors.
Tuscan Wolf looks forward to continuing to collaborate with businesses for catering, workshops, or local initiatives. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere for memorable dining experiences and every bite is a taste of Italy in Whitby. Buon Appetito!

Black Heart Tattoos
106 Brock Street South
Whitby, ON
905-665-6566
Driven to help people feel more confident and express themselves through art, Dan Vandikas opened Black Heart Tattoos in Downtown Whitby in 2015. “We do a lot of scar repairs and cover-ups which help people with their self-confidence”. Customers from all over Canada including people who have travelled from as far as Calgary have been tattooed at Black Heart.
What makes the shop unique is their ability to cater to different demographics “We’re able to cater to a larger age range, I’ve tattooed people in their 80’s”. Black Heart is one of the only local tattoos parlours to offer both tattoo and piercing services.
Dan and his fellow artists have all grown up in Durham, which has helped build a local client base and strong community connections. “We’ve very open to collaborations and are down to promote fellow businesses. We’ve gotten to know so many people in the area, people here are really nice”. The shop’s previous collaborations have included gift card contributions and Instagram promotions.
As of September 1st, 2024, you can visit Black Heart Tattoos at its new location at 113 Dundas Street West.

Another Spin Records
217 Dundas Street East
Whitby, ON
289-274-6643
In the heart of Downtown Whitby, Another Spin Records found its second home in December 2023. For owner Andre Lessard, music isn't just a passion – it's a lifelong love story. "Opening a record store has always been a dream," he confesses. After losing his job as a graphic designer during the Pandemic, Andre just thought “Why not now?”.
Finding the perfect spot in Whitby took some time but with the encouragement from neighbouring businesses and proximity to home, owner Andre knew that Downtown was a no-brainer. “Whitby lacked a true record store and after talking to the local community, we knew it would be the right fit.”
The shop has felt nothing but love from the local community and in April 2024, launched the Travelling Record Show; a mobile pop-up event hosted inside of partnering businesses that fuses a cool atmosphere with music and vinyl hunting. Past partners have included Town Brewery, 8-Bit Beans, Brock Street Brewery, 5 Paddles Brewery, Jacked-Up Coffee, and the Community Vintage Market. “We would like the business community to know that we are here and part of the community”.
Another Spin Records prides itself on being an inclusive space. “Our store is open to everyone, no matter what their musical taste or preference. Some stores make their customers feel they aren’t ‘cool enough’. My goal is to make a safe space for all music lovers.” The shop’s collection includes current and vintage quality vinyl albums in all genres, cassettes, CDs, graphic t-shirts and more.
Whether you're a seasoned collector or a curious newcomer, there's always room for one more music lover at Another Spin Records.
