Two Ribbon Cuttings

Guys with Eats is holding its grand opening on September 5 at Little Arrow Outdoor Resort (118 Stables Dr., Townsend) at 2:30 p.m. Samplings and refreshments provided.


On September 6 at 11 a.m., UT Federal Credit Union (1858 Pauling St., Alcoa) is holding a ribbon cutting and open house at its first Blount County location. Enjoy food, refreshments, and door prizes.

The October 3-4 Redefining Work Systems Symposium: Addressing the Complexities of People and Technology will explore how evolving technologies, practices, and lifestyles are transforming the modern workplace.

Blount County Vendor Day

The objective of vendor day on September 18 is to offer potential vendors the opportunity to learn more about doing business with area governments within Blount County and surrounding areas. Members from other departments will be available to answer questions and give insight on future opportunities.
