Hello Friend of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Shasta,
First and foremost, we wish you and your family a happy new year and thank you for your outstanding support of the Club throughout the 2021 year. As we embark into 2022, we have much to be grateful for – and much to look forward to. We are grateful and excited to be able to continue to provide our community's youth with educational opportunities, social & emotional wellness, guidance & positive activities— bringing the fun back into the lives of youth and providing a safe, fun place for kids to be kids.
January is National Mentorship Month, and now more than ever, we are committed to providing our communities' youth with positive adult mentors
who help our young people overcome even the most challenging times.
Someone to look up to. Someone to talk to about dreams and fears. Someone to celebrate victories big and small. A good mentor is there to listen, to support, to care.
At Boys & Girls Club of Greater Shasta, we believe that every young person deserves a dependable, judgment-free mentor who can guide them through the ups and downs of their decisions – and the incredible potential of their future. As we continue to navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic, more and more young people are in need of social-emotional support, and caring mentors are needed more than ever.
Your donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Shasta in honor of National Mentoring Month will provide kids and teens with positive adult mentors who listen, support and care. Donate by Jan. 31 to help more young people in our community now.
Thank you all again for your continued support. Communities that care for each other thrive together.

The closing of 2021 at the Club was packed with celebration, gratitude, fun, and enriching programs & activities!
Some highlights included our Annual Holiday Celebration with individually wrapped holiday gifts for every Club kid donated by the US Forest Service; and a special Shop with a Cop event where law enforcement officers from across the county where were paired up with Siskiyou County youth to spread holiday cheer. A group of our Club members were invited to participate, and they couldn't have had more fun. The kindness of these officers and the way that they helped our kids shop was priceless, and words cannot describe the gratitude we have for all that you do for our communities. A warm shout-out to Sheriff Jeremiah LaRue and Lt. Ray Boutin for making this event even more special for our Club kids, and to everyone who made this exciting event possible.
From educational enhancement programs, arts & crafts, and nutritious snacks & meals, Club members were able to experience great moments that add up to Great Futures! Check out all of the fun and excitement our Club kids had below!

Did you know that by simply purchasing your regular Amazon purchases through Amazon Smile, Amazon donates .05% of your purchases to the Club with no impact on your purchase total?
Let's break this down a bit...
According to Amazon, the average family spends about $100/month on Amazon purchases. That means over the course of a year, your purchases could result in a $60 donation to the Club. Multiply that by all of our supporters, and imagine the change you can make for Siskiyou County youth!
If you have any questions, please call our Office at 530-220-7623.
