NOVEMBER 2020
Hello Friend of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Shasta,

The Autumn months often are seen as the season of gratitude. We would like to take a moment to give thanks and embrace the deep gratitude that we have for all of your outstanding support. You are helping us remain connected and committed to serving youth, their families, and our community during a time when they need us most. You are making a difference.

Next month, on December 1, we will once again be participating in North State Giving Tuesday. An event that draws upon the kindness and generosity of millions of people across the globe to support the causes they believe in. Our gratitude is overflowing for everyone who participated in last year’s event. As a supporter, you are giving youth a safe place where kids can still be kids during these uncertain times. A place where they are well-fed while their parents are at work. Where youth receive academic support, and assistance with their distance learning. Where social and emotional support is at the forefront, helping youth recover a sense of emotional safety and community that may be lost during these challenging times. You are also supporting confidence, creativity, and self-esteem during a time when youth need it most.

Learn more below about how, together, we can continue to create a stronger community for each child and every family.

Thank you all again. From everyone at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Shasta, we are wishing you and your family all the best.

With the utmost appreciation,

Noam Zimin,
CEO

CLUB NEWS
We are so excited and humbled to announce that because of you, the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Shasta was voted as 2020's Best business of South Siskiyou!

Thank you to all of our supporters who voted for our organization to receive this gracious award, and a special thank you to our donors and the many friends of the Club. We thank you for believing in us and for helping us fulfill our mission. We couldn't do it without you.
WHAT IS GIVING TUESDAY?
Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Giving Tuesday inspires and harnesses the generosity of millions of people across the globe to support the causes they believe in and to give back to the communities in which they live. The goal is to create a massive wave of generosity that lasts well beyond that day, and we invite you to join in on this global day of giving to support the youth of our community.
You are essential to our Mission and to Club kids on Giving Tuesday, and every day. Your gift on Giving Tuesday will ensure that even though these are uncertain times, youth stay on a path towards a great future. Kindly consider making a donation and, together, we are creating a stronger community for each child and every family.

To make giving easy, you can give early starting Tuesday, November 17. Find us at the North State Gives website at: www.northstategives.org/bgcgs
