It's almost time for
weSPARK's 8th  Annual  10K Run, 5K Run/Walk & Kids Fun Run!
 
Thank you for joining us for weSPARK's 8th Annual weRUN we WALK on Sunday, January 21st at CBS Studio Center! Race day is almost here and we are so excited that you will be joining us. 

Here's some important race details:

Parking:
Enter the lot through Gate A, off Radford Avenue (the far gate). You will be able to park anywhere in the Sater Parking Structure off Gate A. 

You MUST bring your ID for access into the lot.  Y ou will not be able to pass through security without your ID. Per CBS security guidelines, you must also pass through one small metal detector before exiting the parking structure. 

No dogs or drones are allowed. 

Timeline:
6:30am - 7:50am: Pre-registration and packet pickup
8:00am: 5k & 10K Races Begin
9:15am: Kids Fun Run!
10:30-11am: Event Ends
*All runners and observers must arrive prior to 8am race start, even if you are only running the Kids Fun Run.

Runner's Packet Pickup & Registration
Packet pick-up begins at 6:30am and ends at 7:50am. Walk up registrations will occur at this time. All runners will receive a t-shirt and finishers medal. 

BIBs 
Please have your ID ready to pick-up your BIB and t-shirt at Registration. Please wear your bib ON THE FRONT.  DO NOT take the pull tag off.  The chip is under the foam on the back.  Do not peel that off. 

Course
Our run/walk will be 10K(6.2 miles) & 5k (3.1 miles). The lap course is 3 laps for 5K and 6 laps for 10K. This a RFID chip timed event by ITZ ABOUT TIME that will offer lap-split timing. Please assure you r un over the mats every lap in order to get your lap scores. Your r esults will be available the afternoon following the race on  www.itzabouttime.com. 

Awards
Everyone will receive a finishers medal. Volunteers will hand you your medal when you finish the race. There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals for Men and Women for the 5K and 10K races in each of the following age categories:
 
1-29
30-39
40-49
50-59
60+

Non-registered attendees
Those that are not running but would like to cheer on their friends and family are welcome! Please make sure to bring ID in order to gain access to the lot.

The event will include:

Kids Fun Run
Children ages 3-11 can register to run a short course after the 5k/10k races. They will be directed line up at start/finish. 

Kids Play Zone
Play zone generously provided by WeVillage of Sherman Oaks. The play area will feature arts and crafts, train table and an obstacle course. Please follow the signs. 

Vendor Expo
Enjoy this great selection of samples and information from our local community partners! 

Radio Stations
LA's biggest radio stations -  KROQ, 97.1 AMP RADIO, JACK FM, K EARTH 101, 94.7 THE WAVE -  will play music as you run the course! 

Celebrity Master of Ceremonies
Leyna Nguyen, award winning journalist from CBS/KCAL 9 will be with us to kick off the race!

Raffle 
Buy a ticket at this event to win fabulous prizes - some valuing over $400! Cash and Card accepted. 

Food Trucks/Drinks
Food trucks will be available at the location starting at 6:30 am. Cash and card accepted.

All proceeds will go directly to weSPARK Cancer Support Center, which provides healing and therapeutic services tailored to enhance the quality of life for cancer patients, survivors and their loved ones, free of charge.
