The University of Michigan will again host a free networking reception at TRB's Annual Meeting, and attendees will have an opportunity to register for the 2024 CCAT Global Symposium (May 21-22, 2024) at the early-bird rate. The reception will be hosted by Mcity, the Center for Connected and Automated Transportation (CCAT), the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at the University of Michigan, and the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute (UMTRI). Space is limited.

Panel Discussion at TRB Annual Meeting

Don't miss Mcity Principal Engineer Derek Johnson, who will participate in a panel discussion about weather applications at AV testbeds like the Mcity Test Facility.
The panel, " 'Automated Vehicle Testbeds and Weather Applications" will also include Peter J. Min of Rutgers University-New Brunswick, Mohit Mandokhot of the Transportation Research Center Inc., and Pruthvi Manjunatha of the University of Florida.

2024 CCAT Global Symposium

The 2024 CCAT Global Symposium will open for registration January 7. In-person and virtual participation will be available for this two-day, two-track program that will cover a variety of issues related to connected and automated vehicles.
The symposium is sponsored by the Center for Connected and Automated Transportation, with support from Mcity, the U-M Transportation Research Institute and the U-M Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
