Volunteer at the First Annual Descendants' Day in Historic McDaniel Street Cemetery

Sat., 4/29 from 8 a.m. to noon

Volunteers are needed on Saturday, April 29, from 8 a.m. until noon to handle supplies, set up the tent, staff the welcome and refreshment tables, give out nametags, direct parking and traffic, clean up the cemetery and restrooms inside Iglesia Vision Global (park here).

The Greater Northside Management District's Butterfly Pocket Park on Fulton won the award for On-the-Ground Projects Under $500K in the 2020 Houston-Galveston Area Council Parks and Natural Areas Award Program. Each year, H-GAC honors projects that serve as models for planning and implementation for parks and natural areas in the region.
