Center for Commuter Life Mentor Programs
As exciting as attending a huge school like San Diego State University can be, it also comes with a lot of uncertainty and anxiety, especially as a commuter student. That is why The Center for Commuter Life invites you to be a part of our community and take part in one of our three mentorship programs:
Commuter Life Academic Mentoring (CLAM):
Designed to assists first-year commuter students successfully transition from high school to San Diego State. Our CLAM mentors encourage and guide students in their first year to excel academically and get involved during your time here at SDSU.
Sophomore Surge:
Designed to pair sophomore students with upper division standing mentors who will provide important information and resources needed during to prep for upper division courses, professional career and leadership advice/tips/resources, and many more items.
Transfer Mentoring:
Designed to pair transfer students with mentors who themselves also transferred to SDSU from various community colleges. Your mentor can help you find your place here at SDSU, build your resume, introduce you to professional and leadership opportunities, and more.
