From the Pastor
Hi friends,
Happy August!
Well, this has been a busy week. Preparing for the arrival of that awesome, big blue bus took many hands and hours to coordinate, so THANK YOU to those who helped volunteer and get the word out. A special thanks to our Rev. Craig Showalter for working behind the scenes to ensure a smooth event - Craig, I appreciate you. What a great evening! I love our friends at Vote Common Good!
Now, how's about we get together Friday night for a good ole' bonfire to decompress ;)
The Reiswigs have generously offered to open their home to us for a time of relaxation and fellowship. So, COME! 7 pm at 1325 Lundy's Lane in Newark. There will be non-alcoholic beverages and s'mores...now all we need are some people, a few instruments, and an adult beverage, should you choose. Their house is fully accessible, as well. Will we see you there? I sure hope so. Nothing says SUMMER like a nice evening bonfire.
However, I know some of you will be wrapped up in Pelatonia this weekend - my thoughts are with you all - especially you Saturday 'early birds.'
Here's some tunes for you from last Sunday:

And for you Marvel fans, you may really enjoy this month's theme...
but you'll have to come on Sunday to find out ;)
See you soon, friends.
