Villa Charities Italian Canadian Immigrant Tribute

#TributeThursday – Holiday Memories

The holiday season is a time to gather with loved ones and enjoy special family traditions. It’s a time to reflect on cherished memories and to share stories from our family history, many of which include a journey from Italy to Canada, to begin a new life. This #TributeThursday, we celebrate all our donors who have already chosen to purchase a customized name plaque to recognize their loved ones’ immigrant experiences.

Plaques are available for a $1,000 donation and will feature the name of the family member and the year they immigrated to Canada. A tax receipt will be issued for the maximum allowable amount. If you would like to split your purchase and tax receipt with a family member(s), you can contact our sales office at 647-951-9874.

Proceeds from the sale of each plaque through Villa Charities Foundation will support Villa Charities programs and services such as senior care, cultural programming, scholarships and youth services, and capital needs.

This Christmas, purchase a tribute plaque and give the everlasting gift of honouring your family’s Italian Canadian history for years to come.
