“L’Eco dei Nostri Dialetti “is a celebration of Italian dialects. On June 26, we will take a journey into the “rebirth” of dialects together with poets, writers, musicians, comedians, professors, actresses, and a special appearance by actor

Villa Colombo Toronto celebrated Seniors’ Month and Italian Heritage Month with events throughout June. Residents and staff enjoyed many festivities including National Hazelnut Day, preparing Nutella-inspired sweets and cakes, National Chocolate Ice Cream Day, winning prizes at National Bingo Day, Porchetta Day and traditional live Italian music with the Coro Italia garden concert.

June is Safety Awareness Month and Villa Charities in partnership with Toronto Fire Services offered training presentations at Casa Del Zotto, Caboto Terrace, and Casa Abruzzo for our seniors. Topics such as fire prevention, detection, and escape were discussed.
