Loveland Venice Wins of the Month

Jarrett is starting to answer yes or no questions verbally with two choices of activities given.

Kristina is working on her fine motor skills. She attempted to place the lid of the shape sorter on top of the base of the shape sorter puzzle without hand-over-hand assistance.

April D is advocating for the activity she wants to work on without verbal prompts.

15th Annual BBQ is set for December 5, 2023

Loveland Center celebrated its 14^th Annual Barbecue Fundraiser on December 14 at Venice Community Center. Presented by the Gulf Coast Community Foundation, with matches totaling $30,000 from the Albert A. Arditti Family Foundation and Band, Gates & Dramis Charitable Foundations, the center exceeded its match and overall goals, thanks to the generosity of its sponsors, guests, and silent auction winners. Loveland Center Hottest Spot in Town

Participants from all over danced the night away in The Clubhouse at Loveland Center during its Holiday Dance on December 16. A huge success, participants of Loveland Center programs and residents of the Nancy Detert Residences enjoyed a night of holiday cheer.

The festivities began earlier in the day with a Carol Sing in the Quad, featuring several soloists, dancing, and sing-a-longs for fans, parents, caregivers, staff, and friends.

Loveland Charlotte Parades and Receives Award

Our Port Charlotte Center joined in on the Christmas fun on December 10th as we participated in the Punta Gorda Holiday Parade, hosted by the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce. The holiday theme was "Fishing You a Merry Christmas" and our Port Charlotte crew captured Third Place for Best Decorated Vehicle. Loveland North Port Takes Overall Decor Award

On Wednesday, December 21, arbiters of taste and style visited Loveland Center's four locations in order to judge the BEST Holiday Door and Overall Decorations, and celebrate the holidays with Loveland Bradenton participants and staff on their final stop.
