August 25, 2024 …and spread the word!
Families, church leaders, and volunteers will gather to discuss how to grow our CYF (Children, Youth, and Family) program for this next year. We will meet in the Fellowship Hall following the worship service. Congregational Support is hosting a potluck that Sunday so there’ll be food. Please bring something tasty to share, though it is not mandatory. Games will be out for children to play with independently. More details to follow.
Faithfully yours,

Stewardship Status Report
We have experienced the generosity of our friends and members here at Peace United Church of Christ. Thank you.
At our annual congregational meeting, ten church members added another $25,000+ towards this year’s pledge amount, bringing our total so much closer to being able to close the gap. Since then, we graciously have received more pledges, bringing our current total to $245,395 from 81 households. We could reach $260,000 which would allow us to continue to offer many of our rich programs we have in place and balance our budget.
If you have not yet submitted your pledge, please do so. Help us to reach our goal of 100 household pledges. We value all pledges, no matter the amount. Your pledge is not only a financial one, it is also another way that you covenant with us.
Whether your pledge is the same or changing, please submit a new pledge form, if you have not already done so. You can use THIS LINK.
Faithfully yours,
Lisa Hoesing, Lisa Johnson, Pastor Dave Pattee, Maryse Postlewaite, Bill Walton, Bob Lange.

Let's Explore Joy, Creativity, and Service Together!
There have already been inquiries about when Lanakila Iesū will be offering another section of her expressive arts workshop series, Authentic Living, Loving Service, here at Peace. In great part, when that will happen again is up to you!
Lanakila has asked that those interested in attending but unable to participate in the spring or summer series please give her some input. She'd like to hear about days and times in a typical week that would work well for you, especially around October to November this year. If an online series or one-on-one work would be more accessible for you, those are also possibilities!
Please contact Lanakila@lanakilamusic.com to make your interest and scheduling needs known.
