Come and enjoy a weekend of fellowship, growth, and renewal, all centered around the common thread of sewing!
Our relaxed schedule will give you time to share ideas, skills and techniques with other sewing enthusiasts. Bring your current quilting project or start a new one! Roberts Sewing Center Will Remain Open Through Out The Retreat, so you will have all the time you need to find your inspiration! Attendees will even get a discount on purchases made during the event!
We will provide ironing stations with irons, cutting stations with mats, rotary cutters and rulers & meals while you are at the retreat! Feel Free to bring your own snacks. We will have paper plates, napkins, silverware & beverages!

The "optional" Creative Grids Folded Corner Clipper CGRFCC will be demonstrated to show you how easy the "Square in a Square" method can be using this great tool! This ruler is optional and not required to take the class.
Kits are available or you can purchase a pattern and pick out your own fabrics!

We chat and give a little help if you need it. Bring your own lunch, or go out somewhere nearby, just sort of free-wheeling it. We'll leave that up to you.

Build your block making skills with this twice a month class. We will meet to tackle cutting, building and sewing two blocks each week.
The blocks we will be learning can be made in sizes 6", 8", 10 ", 12" or a whopping 36" perfect for quick table toppers or baby quilt to gift!
We will also cover tips, tools and techniques that help make quilting easy and fun, and will definitely will improve your quilt block building skills.

Kids Summer Camp #1 - Beginning to Sew!

This camp is geared for the beginner sewist! However, all levels are invited! We will be sewing pajama bottoms and a sundress. Students will learn how to follow a pattern, cut fabric, pin, insert elastic and much much more!
