Animal Keeper For A Day

Green Cay Nature Center and Wetlands, Boynton Beach

Work behind the scenes and care for the animals with staff and volunteers; it can be a dirty job, but the most rewarding! Sat, Jul 20, 9:30 a.m. Ages 8+, $10/participant. RSVP required.

The Art of Kokedama

Morikami Museum & Japanese Gardens, Delray Beach

Learn the mechanics of how to make kokedama, the Japanese art of growing plants in a moss covered ball of soil, and create some to decorate your home or give to a special person on Sat, Jul 27, 10:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m. Ages 15+, $60/participant. RSVP required.

A physical activity program focused on maintaining stability and enhancing overall well-being. Classes are held weekdays, 8:30 a.m. outdoors under the pavilion; second class held on Tuesdays & Thursdays, 10:00 a.m. FREE ADMISSION
Functional Fitness

A physical activity program focused on balance, flexibility and strength training. Classes are held Tuesdays & Thursdays, 8:30 a.m. RSVP required. FREE ADMISSION
Glades Fitness
Glades Pioneer Park, Belle Glade
A total body workout program for all fitness levels with a combination of short resistance and endurance training bursts focused on upper body, leg strength and cardio exercises. Classes are held Wednesdays, 5:30 p.m. outdoors on the tennis courts. FREE ADMISSION

Covered Arena Open Riding

Jim Brandon Equestrian Center, west of West Palm Beach

Bring your horse to the covered arena for general purpose riding this summer! The covered arena will be open July 5, 11, 12, 18 & 19, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Open to individual riders for general purpose riding which is limited to walk, trot and canter.
