Elevator on East Side of Physical Science Complex Reduced to Limited Service

The elevator on the east side of the Physical Science Complex, near the Environmental Health, Safety, and Sustainability offices, is no longer available for regular use. However, it is available for moving heavy equipment or ADA needs only with a work request made in advance to Facilities Services.

The elevator is original to the building, and parts are no longer easily available. Facilities Services plans to equip the elevator with new electronics, but the parts may take up to a year to receive.

An elevator is available on the west side of the Physical Science Complex; however, it does not provide access to the Mathematics and Statistics classrooms and offices or the basement on the east side of the building.
