We are OPEN and moving FORWARD

Day by day and step by step—We are making great strides and so excited to welcome you back!

Let's Rebuild Your Historic Community House Together!

It's not too late to join in!

Have you heard the inspiring news? We are delighted and honored to announce fellow Sanibel residents, Bill & Laurie Harkey have donated $500,000 to help the Sanibel Community Association rebuild your Historic Sanibel Community House.

The Harkey’s have asked all residents, neighbors and friends of Sanibel and Captiva to join them by donating to help us rebuild and get your Historic Island Gathering Place fully open and operating as quickly as we can. We can't do this without YOUR HELP.

Click the “Count me in!” button above or below to make your secure donation online—or if you would prefer to mail in a check, please make it payable to “Sanibel Community Association” and write “Harkey Challenge” in the memo field.

Any amount is greatly appreciated. No donation is too small. What a gift it would be to help rebuild the historical nature of the Sanibel Community House, the heartbeat of the Islands. Your generous support will help us reach our goal and brighten the future for generations to come. We cannot imagine a Sanibel without The Community House, and with The Harkey’s generosity, along with YOUR donation, we can all do this TOGETHER!

We are truly grateful to Bill & Laurie Harkey for stepping up and creating this opportunity. We can never say "Thank You" enough for helping to restore the historical heartbeat of the Islands!

Your Historic Sanibel Community House, The Island Gathering Place was severely damaged and we lost everything, including: furniture, tables, chairs, computers, office and AV equipment, restaurant grade kitchen appliances and kitchenware, and so many other supplies.

Your support will help us build back stronger, more resilient and smarter for the future. And we can’t do it without you.

We were and we will be again, the perfect setting for:

 • Arts & Cultural programs

• Clubs & Organizational meetings

 • Private events

 • Community celebrations, and more!

Your support helps build a better future for all.

No donation is too small. Every contribution helps SCA get closer to its goal.

Gratefully,

Teresa Riska-Hall

Executive Director
