Field to Fork

The Field to Fork Festival (FTFF) invites you to participate in central Kentucky's first celebration of this caliber designed to reconnect consumers with the regional sources of their food, and to credit the talented agricultural producers, gardeners, food artisans, winemakers and chefs that contribute to the growing culinary reputations and local food communities.

The Field to Fork Festival will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2011 in cooperation with Berea Tourist and Convention Commission, Garrard County Chamber of Commerce, and the Garrard County Farmers' Market on the grounds of Halcomb's Knob Farm, located six miles from I-75, exit 76 in Paint Lick, Kentucky.

The convenience of this farm, central to the Garrard - Madison counties agricultural communities in Kentucky will contribute to its success. We have estimated an expected attendance of more than 250 attendees during this one-day event, encompassing three areas of focus: Tastes of Kentucky, Harvest Specials Farmers' Market, and Sustainable Edible Workshops.

New exhibitor contracts are being accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis until June 24. Exhibitors will be assigned a space according to their venue of application (Tastes of Kentucky or Harvest Specials Farmers' Market).

Please note the Harvest Specials Farmers' Market venue is restricted to Garrard and Madison county producers.

To request a space for the 2011 Field to Fork Festival, download a copy of the Field to Fork Festival Exhibitor Application from  here review the rules and regulations as outlined, complete and sign the Exhibitor Contract.Return this form along with payment to Halcomb's Knob Farm. Total payment, along with a valid certificate of liability insurance, must be received no later than June 24.

The Field to Fork Festival management reserves the right to determine whether a potential exhibitor contributes to this educational event. The following criteria will apply:

  • For food vendors and chefs, a minimum of 75% of the food served must be produced with local and seasonal ingredients.
  • Exhibit or demonstrate small-scale farm technology, equipment, animal, and plant materials with emphasis on showing improved methods in harvesting, handling, production, and utilization for the agriculturalist or backyard gardener.
