CROATIA: THE PEARL OF THE ADRIATIC
Are you interested in traveling internationally but don't want the hassel of planning, scheduling, and booking a costly, unguided trip to somewhere you've never been? Let us be your guide!

The Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce, along with CI Destinations presents Croatia, The Pearl of the Adriatic! You will depart on a luxury tour bus with a group of local travelers, and board your transatlantic flight to Croatia! You will spend nine beautiful days exploring the coast and country side with your group and personal tour guide, departing October, 24, 2023.

Highlights will include Dubrovnik, Diocletian Palace, Franciscan Monastery, Montenegro, Boat excursion to " Our Lady of the Rock," Peljesac Peninsula, Monstar, Kotor, Split, and Trogir.

The cost of the trip is $3,599 per person which includes roundtrip airport transportation, seven nights of hotel accommodations at 4-star hotels, 10 meals (seven breakfasts, three dinners), sightseeing and admissions per itinerary, and a professional tour manager. The early bird deadline to register is March 31, 2023, payment plans available.

The Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce, along with First Citizens Bank- Chatham, VA, hosted Business After Hours this month in Pittsylvania County.

We had a great turn out and everyone enjoyed the amazing food by Hunt & Co. Restaurant and Catering, plus networking with over 70 business leaders.

ADVOCACY 101: HOW TO BE AN EFFECTIVE ADVOCATE THIS SESSION
FINDING INFORMATION ON LEGISLATION

You can find information on all legislation at the website https://lis.virginia.gov. If you know the bill number for the legislation you are tracking, you can enter it in “Bills & Resolutions” and you will be shown a summary of the bill, the bill text, its patron, and where it currently resides in the legislative process. If you are interested in finding a bill containing certain subject matter, you can do so in the same menu or by searching via keyword.


ACCESSING HOUSE/SENATE MEETING SCHEDULES 

Among a ton of other information, you can find the House and Senate committee meeting schedules at https://virginiageneralassembly.gov under the “Members and Session” tab. At this webpage, you can also sign up to speak remotely at committee meetings and provide written comments. Since spoken testimony may be limited, I would highly recommend submitting written comment for each bill you intend to speak for or against.
