Interested citizens who may be considering running for public office this year - or in future years - are encouraged to attend this workshop on "How to Run for Public Office."
The workshop will include information on the State Board of Elections, civic engagement, candidate involvement, and community trends/demographics.

Business After Hours are designed to provide networking opportunities for members and provide a means to showcase the business’s products, services and facilities.
Business and community leaders are encouraged to attend with the intention of creating new business relationships.

CROATIA: THE PEARL OF THE ADRIATIC |

Are you interested in traveling internationally but don't want the hassel of planning, scheduling, and booking a costly, unguided trip to somewhere you've never been? Let us be your guide!
The Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce, along with CI Destinations presents Croatia, The Pearl of the Adriatic! You will depart on a luxury tour bus with a group of local travelers, and board your transatlantic flight to Croatia! You will spend nine beautiful days exploring the coast and country side with your group and personal tour guide, departing October, 24, 2023.
Highlights will include Dubrovnik, Diocletian Palace, Franciscan Monastery, Montenegro, Boat excursion to " Our Lady of the Rock," Peljesac Peninsula, Monstar, Kotor, Split, and Trogir.
The cost of the trip is $3,599 per person which includes roundtrip airport transportation, seven nights of hotel accommodations at 4-star hotels, 10 meals (seven breakfasts, three dinners), sightseeing and admissions per itinerary, and a professional tour manager. The early bird deadline to register is March 31, 2023, payment plans available.

2023 VACCE CONFERENCE: WAYNESBORO, VA |

The Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce team attended the Virginia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (VACCE) Conference in Waynesboro, VA this month. The event was hosted by Greater Augusta Regional Chamber of Commerce.
This was a great opportunity to meet and network with other Chambers as well as share best practices and learn about marketing techniques, legislative advocacy, Foundation operations, membership engagement and more!
