Western University President Alan Shepard invites the London and area community to join Western faculties, research institutes and departments at Engage Western.

Guests will hear from President Alan Shepard in a keynote address outlining Western’s activities in the city and future plans. The event includes many interactive booths where guests can connect with the Western team including Western Talent, Student Engagement, Advanced Education, doing business with Western and more.

The Global Student Leadership Summit (GSLS) will host hundreds of student leaders and educators from across the country for three days at in London, Ontario. GSLS will feature over 20 world-class speakers, interactive workshops and peer collaboration. These students and educators will have the opportunity to make real, valuable connections and work together to better their communities, creating a clear vision for our future.

GLOBAL MEETINGS INDUSTRY DAY 2023!

GMID2023: London's Meetings Industry Matters!

On March 30, London joined cities around the world in celebrating Global Meetings Industry Day! More than 100 members of London's meetings and business events community enjoyed a networking breakfast and panel discussion with industry experts moderated by Heather Reid, President of PCMA Canada East Chapter.

The panel discussed the huge impact the industry has on our community, the challenges that the business tourism industry still face in a post-pandemic world, and the hope for the future of events that presents itself both in the collective voice of the industry's biggest advocates and associations and in the next generation of event planners, producers, suppliers, and what they are bringing to the table.

London, Ont. unveils UNESCO City of Music Mural at RBC Place London

On Thursday, the City of London, Ont., London Arts Council, and RBC Place London celebrated the unveiling of the newly installed London UNESCO City of Music Mural located in the lobby of RBC Place London.
