Following the long legacy of vibrant annual meetings, the American Ornithological Society (AOS) and the Society of Canadian Ornithologists/Société des ornithologistes du Canada (SCO-SOC) 2023 "Birds as Bridges" Joint Conference will offer a great opportunity for sharing and discussing scientific research in all areas involving birds.

This will be the 141st annual meeting of AOS and the 40th annual meeting of the SCO-SOC and brings hundreds of visitors to London from across North America. With support from local ornithologists from universities and agencies in Southwestern Ontario, this collaborative conference provides new opportunities for these organizations, and for conference attendees to build new partnerships for research, conservation, and education.

The Association of Municipalities of Ontario has invited representatives from Ontario's 444 municipalities to London for their Annual General Meeting and Conference. The AMO Conference is one way AMO creates space for municipal officials to work together to achieve shared goals, by providing them with tools to succeed and programs to help maximize taxpayer dollars.

There is so much in store for the 1200 returning delegates and first-time councillors as they connect with colleagues from every part of Ontario, both within our building and in exploration of all London has to offer.
