Help Us Invite Our Neighbors to National Night Out
TOMORROW, Friday, July 26, 9-10 AM
Wear your walking shoes and help us hang door signs throughout the neighborhood. Meet at the church at 9 AM and grab a stack of fliers to distribute in the Hamblen neighborhood. The more people we have, the faster this will go! We hope you are able to make time to join us!

This Sunday's Summer Mission Partner Support:
Family Promise of Spokane
This summer we are inviting our local mission partners to update Hamblen about their current activities. They will be presenting a Minute for Mission, and we will be collecting funds for their ministries. Hamblen is grateful to partner with these organizations and encourages you to give and volunteer. We hope our funding will exceed last year’s. This Sunday, we’re excited to hear from the following partner:

Family Promise equips families with the resources needed to end homelessness. They address homelessness holistically, providing prevention services before families reach crisis, shelter and case management when they become homeless, and stabilization programs once they have secured housing to ensure they remain independent. Hamblen volunteers have served on their Board of Directors and used their skills in various programs and projects as needed. A group of HPPC volunteers recently completed a yard clean-up project. We Need Help with Weeds!!
If you have some spare time in the cooler hours of the day, we would love to have some help pulling weeds around the church as we get ready to host our National Night Out block party. Even 15 minutes of your time would be welcomed, we are not looking for perfection, just getting the big tall weeds out. You can leave what you pull in the dumpster at the southwest corner of the back parking lot. If you have any questions, email Heather Notske at heathern@hamblenpres.org. Thank you!!
