Her name is Ashley McNeal. For the past six years, she has been the full-time minister to children and families (and recently youth as well) at FUMC Arkadelphia, AR. Ashley has a degree in Christian Education from Ouachita Baptist University and spent two years with a mission organization in New York City. She is originally from Waco, Texas.

Ashley is married to Christopher, and they have five canine children. Ashley's ministry in Arkadelphia has been characterized by creativity, energy, and growth, and we are looking forward to a great time with our children's ministry at FSFUMC. Ashley will start at the end of May.

We can't say enough thank-you's to Kelly DeSoto for being our interim children's director for much longer than she anticipated before a pandemic came along, and to Sally Ware, who has continued in retirement to assist in meaningful ways. God is good!
