What's Happening At Mission u
Dateline--Ada, OH
Music Fills the Days
Music at Mission u is always memorable. Every year the team of musicians and music leaders open our hearts and minds with a wide diversity of music. They draw us together and move us to lift our voices in sacred sound. This year's team of Teri Grey and Brian Montgomery are using a blend of songs and styles of music to deepen our worship experience.  At Mission u, you will find music filling the air at almost any time or place. Walk through the classroom areas and you might hear contemporary songs like, Happy by Pharrell Williams, simple songs like Jesus Loves Me or old  stand-bys like  Open My Eyes. E ven in the cafeteria, we are known to break out in song. Just this morning, Teri, stopped everything at breakfast by leading us in the singing of If Your Happy And You Know It  Clap Your Hands. No doubt about it, music fills our days and for that we are very grateful.

Latin American Festival
The Evening Program this year will be a celebration of the Latin American culture. Games, music, and art displays are just a few of the fun activities you will be able to enjoy. And you will not want to miss the special activity called Swing For Mission.  What  is swing for mission you ask? Well, for a small donation you will get to take a swing at a piñata filled with candy. Who will be the person strong enough to break the piñata and grab all the candy? Will it be you?

A featured presentation of the evening festival will be award-winning performers, Alicia Pagan and Raymond Two Crows Wallen who will share stories and music of Latin America. Take a listen to a cut from their CD.

Walk/Ride For Missions
You still have time to collect money for the Walk/Ride For Mission. This year the top three people who collect the most money for this event will receive prizes for their efforts. So don't be shy, get out there and use your best persuasive skills to hit up friends and ask strangers. Leave no stone unturned as we gather money in support of the Casa de Misericorda Orphanage and the Manos Juntas Medical Clinic.

Money can be turned in at the hospitality table until noon on Thursday (4-Day Program) or Sunday (Weekend Event/Daysampler).

Those that want to participate in the walk or ride, we will be gathering at the front of the Chapel after the Evening Program.
