Inspirational Books by James Bernard!

Captain James Scott Bernard, author and overall inspiration, greets the market every Sunday with his many exciting books. The books include adventure and are motivational and lifting reads. Titles like 'Adventures of a Young Merchant Sailor,' 'Positive Poems and Rhymes - to encourage your times,' and 'Spirit Lifters, Challenge your Mountain' begin to express the depth of the stories. You'll have to chat with James and grab one of his books to gain the true depth of this booth. Find him on 12th between Duane and Exchange Streets, every Sunday.

ASM Food Court Stage is back! We have a season of fabulous musicians booked, and ready to entertain you.

This Sunday, Lew Jones will play from 11-3. Lew Jones is an accomplished guitarist and songwriter. He won the Crystal Award Outstanding Folk Act from the Portland Music Association and was nominated 2X. He had a regional hit record w/ The Terwilliger Bridge/I Think I'm Gonna Rain Tonight on Ripcord Records in 1979.

We now accept Double-up Food Bucks, along with SNAP, EBT, FDNP & WIC!

Astoria Sunday Market accepts SNAP & EBT and we are so excited to announce that this year we will be distributing Double-Up Food Bucks to all SNAP customers. Double-Up Food Bucks automatically includes an extra $1 for every SNAP dollar spent, up to $20! Many of our farmers also accept Farm Direct Nutrition Program (FDNP) and WIC checks!
