What's Fresh at the Wednesday Market

Twelve farmers/producers will continue to bring fresh cantaloupe and seedless watermelon, along with sweet corn, juicy peaches, lettuces, beets, summer squash, zucchini, green beans, shishito and jalapeño peppers, garlic, heirloom, slicer, and cherry tomatoes, gold and red potatoes, plums, cabbage, honey, mushrooms, blackberries, eggplant, beets, beef, chicken, freshly laid eggs, cabbage, cauliflower, fresh-cut flowers including sunflowers, beautiful bouquets, goat milk soaps and lotions, houseplants, fresh-baked breads, pastries made with local fruits, and so much more this Wednesday!

The Historic Lewes Farmers Market is unique in that it is producer-only. At this Market, only vendors who grow, raise, or produce what they sell are allowed in this market - allowing customers to buy directly from the source. A true farmers market!

Chef Ted Deptula, Culinary Director for Crooked Hammock Brewery, will be back at the Market this week to show off new recipes and give customers samples of some of the offerings at the Hammock!

SNAP, WIC, SFMNP—

HLFM Matches up to $20 of SNAP Per Market

The Market will continue to match SNAP benefits up to $20 per market, per customer. You can find the SNAP tent at the HLFM tent with volunteers to process your SNAP/EBT and give you the HLFM tokens that can be used at market all season long. WIC and SFMNP benefits are also welcome at the Market.

Attention Dog Owners:

Please note that dogs and other pets (except for Service Dogs) are not permitted inside the Market. This is to ensure the safety of customers, vendors, and volunteers. This rule applies to both the Saturday and Wednesday Markets.

The HLFM Retro Tomato T-Shirts are now available at both the Saturday and Wednesday Markets. We still have all sizes available (from youth medium to 3XL), but be sure to pick one up before they're gone!
