17th ANNUAL WESTON IRISH FESTIVAL

The Weston Irish Festival opens it's gates Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, at O'Malley's Pub & Courtyard. Great Irish music, piping, dancing, and storytelling, along with traditional Irish food and drinks are what you'll find. The festival features musicians from across the U.S., Canada and Ireland. Acts will perform on the open-air courtyard stage
as well as the two indoor pub stages. A fourth Stage will showcase the pipers and dancers.
The aroma of authentic Irish dishes - corned beef, Irish stew, bangers, and coddle will fill the air along with traditional festival favorites - pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, nachos, loaded baked potatoes, apple fritters and more. A full complement of draught ale, stout and lager will be available along with other libations.

During dinner Tea Room owner Verna Kowertz will share legends, stories, and just plain ghost tales from locals and tourists passing through Weston. Then Weston Community Theatre joins the fun to escort guests on to the streets of Weston to visit nearby locations and hear the haunted tales of each. Three sessions of tales of the ghosts of Weston, 4 course dinner starting with eerie appetizers, jason's green salad, roast beast with all the trimmings. Following by a evening walk with story tellers and ending with double dipped devils food cake and more spooky tales
Dinner and Play starts at 7:00pm

It is Fall at The Farmer's House. At the Farm location the Farm to Fork Kitchen is open every Saturday and Sunday in October serving our famous hot apple fritters, cold apple slushies and farm barbecue. Also every Saturday and Sunday at the Farm we have live bluegrass and other fun genre bands playing on our front porch from 1:00 to 4:00. The fun back Farm Yard is open where duck races, cut flower beds, fun games and great family picture taking opportunities abound.
In downtown Weston we have great hot wassail and other samples and you can get a jump on amazingly reasonable items for holiday shopping.
