In honor of our
focus of the month on
seva, we have several special events coming up that are special fundraisers for the New Orleans and Gulf Coast community.
Radhanath Swami speaks often of the power of service. He writes,
"Seva does not simply mean to serve. Seva means to serve with no egoism and no selfishness. Real seva means we are not considering what we will get in return. Seva is service with the intent to please the object of our service. Cultivating this attitude brings about real bhakti, real love. So in this sense, by external considerations, there is no big or small service.
One can build a magnificent temple with pure love and that is a great service, or one can offer a simple flower and that is just as good, maybe even better, depending on the internal quality of how we are genuinely trying to please the Lord. One of the reasons our spiritual progress gets impeded is because we don't really appreciate the opportunity to serve."
Please assist us in uplifting and serving the community around us by joining us for one of the following events!

Tuesday, November 13, 7:30-9:00 pm
Done lying down, or in meditation, or in your own self-led practice, enjoy the harmonics, high calibration, symphony and orchestration of precise sound for retuning a sound mind, nervous system, emotional state and mental clarity that conscious sound can provide, especially if the sympathetic nervous system is high strong, under threat, stress or attack.
ALL beings are welcome, and as our celebration of our focus of the month of compassion in action and selfless service, this is a benefit philanthropy offering to the chance to serve, Love and feed others.
This is also a graduation gift to our teachers in training in Swan School, who have worked 6 months to in a more clear direct way self inquire, grow and evolve their understanding of what they find yoga to be in uplifting the collective. This is good news for us all. Congratulations!
