Founder's Corner | A Message From Tim O'Hagan

Hello, Passionate Leaders and Language Advocates,

When I started Languages 4™, it was with a singular passion - to see the richness of Indigenous languages flourish, celebrated, and deeply respected. As you browse this edition today, I hope it strikes a chord with you as much as it does with me.

Indigenous learners don't just 'want' representative curricula. They unequivocally deserve it. They've earned it through generations of resilience and deep-rooted connection to their culture. It's more than just a teaching strategy; it's a fundamental right, even acknowledged by the UN.

Our piece on language sovereignty, a cornerstone of what we stand for, finds its place again in this edition. Not because we ran out of content but because its message is so timeless and vital that it deserves regular spotlight.

We work hard on each newsletter edition, and I hope this one resonates with you. If you feel the pulse of our mission and the importance of our cause, don't hesitate. Reach out to us, or better yet, encourage your staff to connect. Together, we can ensure Indigenous languages aren't just remembered - they're relived, rekindled, and revered.

Thank you for your efforts and consideration,

Tim O'Hagan

What are your thoughts on the frequency of this newsletter?
I appreciate it every two weeks.
It is too frequent, monthly would be better.
I need more, weekly would be better.
Quarterly would fit my interest level.
