DOWNTOWN BRASELTON
The Braselton Visitors Bureau presents the 2016-released "The Angry Birds Movie" on Saturday, November 5, on the Braselton Town Green.

This casual experience takes guests through various participating businesses located in three different commercial nodes of the town. Each business offers wine tasting and appetizers while introducing guests to what their business has to offer.

Lighting of the Tree, Saturday, November 12 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. An annual holiday favorite event, the Lighting of the Tree ceremony will take place at the new Town Green on Davis Street near the Braselton Brothers Department Store building. The evening's entertainment includes special music from local choirs, churches, community groups and schools. This two hour outdoor event begins at 5:00 p.m. and concludes with the appearance of a special guest lighting the tree. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets as seating is limited. Following the tree lighting, a movie will be shown also at the Town Green. Many downtown shops will remain open late for a jump start to holiday shopping.
Food concessions and vendors will include:
Jefferson FFA selling hamburgers.
PawPaws Peanuts will offer hot boiled peanuts and hotdogs.
Rowe's Concessions will have shaved ice, ice cream, funnel cakes, nachos and a variety of other goodies.

The Racing Elves 5K and 1-mile fun run will be on Saturday, November 19, and this family fun experience will kick off the second weekend of Celebrate the Holidays in Braselton. The 5K begins at 8:00 a.m. with the fun run at 9:15 a.m. and the holiday parade (which has a Centennial theme) steps off at 10:30 a.m. The festival will be held in the new Braselton Town Green and Year One is also hosting its Braselton Bash Christmas in Braselton from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
