Blacksmith Giving Day Was a
Tremendous Success!
Blacksmith Giving Day was yesterday, September 22, and the Westlake Academy Community rallied together for a historic Blacksmith Giving Day total! We surpassed the $1 million mark around 6:30pm last night and ended up with a sensational $1.18 million dollars! We are so thankful to everyone who made donations of any shape and size. The $1.1M was the must-have money, and thanks to so many generous families, we have it! Now the fun will be how much more can we raise from the remainder of our WA families for the things that had to get cut from budget or put on hold. Just because Blacksmith Giving Day has come and passed, doesn't mean you can't still contribute to this years Blacksmith Fund. The WA Leadership team is hard at work on how to best use extra funds for maximum student impact. Reach out to Dr. Shelly Myers with any questions at smyers@westlakeacademy.org!
