Snow Shoveling - What You Need to Know

To keep paths open for those who need them, snow must be cleared within 24 hours of a storm.

Wellington municipal code 11-1-20 requires residents, both homeowners and renters, to remove snow from driveways and sidewalks. Shovel snow into your yard, not into streets or gutters, whenever possible.

Review common code enforcement matters with the button below.

Toilets are often the biggest culprit of

undetected leaks. The average leaky toilet can waste about 200 gallons of water per day. That’s over 73,000 gallons a year or over $300 down the drain for just one leaking toilet!

Toilets may produce a running water sound that is easy to hear; however, often toilet leaks are silent and can be intermittent, allowing loss of water to go undetected for long periods of time.

Free leak detecting tabs are available for pick up at the Municipal Services Building (8225 3rd St. Wellington CO, 80549)
