Potluck Lunch
Sunday, February 26th, After Sunday Service
| |
|
As we explore the "recipe" for Making a Life this winter, let's share some of our favorite recipes with each other at a Pot Luck lunch, after service on Sunday, February 26th! You can pitch in with cooking, setting up, or cleaning up (and, of course, eating). We'll gather in the Dining Hall, and our YouthBridge Ministry will have board games available as an opportunity for intergenerational connection. This is an all-ages, family-friendly event! Come lend your skills and talents - or just bring your appetite and sparkling personality. Please RSVP if you plan to attend, so we can ensure enough food for all!

UUA General Assembly
June 21-25 in Pittsburgh, PA
| |
|
Each year, our denomination (the Unitarian Universalist Association, or UUA) holds a "General Assembly" in June. General Assembly (or GA) is open to members of all UU congregations - it's where the business of the denomination gets done, big questions and issues are voted on by delegates, and many opportunities are provided for learning and networking across our wider UU community.
The location of GA rotates around the country, and this year it is closer to home than most: in Pittsburgh! There is a cost to attend, and fees go up after February 28. Both Rev. Lee and Beth Monhollen will be attending this year.

You may have noticed a new face onstage, this Sunday morning… as of this week, Handan Fazio is joining the WellSprings band as our brand new drummer! Handan is a part-time dental hygienist and part-time musician. She’s been playing at School of Rock in Downingtown for about 4 years - and she’s very excited to be joining us on Sunday mornings. Next time you’re in Bell Hall, please give Handan a warm WellSprings welcome!

Covid Exposure at Our 2/12 Service | |
In WellSprings’ Covid-19 Exposure Protocol, we have asked that attendees notify us if they test positive for Covid-19 within 7 days after attending a WellSprings event. We have received notification that an individual who attended the service in person on February 12th has since tested positive for Covid-19.
Please do not hesitate to contact the Board of Trustees at board@wellspringsuu.org with any questions or concerns. We greatly appreciate your continued cooperation and support as we work to offer in-person options while maintaining the health and safety of our ministers, staff, lay leaders and congregants as our highest priority.

Support our Community, While You Shop!
Did you know the HeartWorks Team at WellSprings participates in the "Cash 4 Causes" program, with Giant Grocery Stores? That means you can purchase Giant Grocery Cards for your personal use, through WellSprings. You get 100% of the card's value, to pay for your own groceries, when you shop - but Giant donates 5% of the card's value to WellSprings. We turn around and use that money to support the good work that our HeartWorks Team does in the community! Last year we received nearly $600 through this program - and we know we all need groceries... so we think we can do even better...
Grocery cards (in denominations of $25, $50, or $100) can be purchased each month by check, or if you prefer, you can set up a recurring purchase online (fees will apply for an online purchase.) You can mail your check directly to: WellSprings Congregation, 47 Marchwood Rd., Suite 2A-2, Exton, PA 19341. Make your check out to WellSprings Congregation and write "Cash 4 Causes" in the memo line.
