ESL CONVERSATION GROUP

Our weekly ESL Conversation Group is back from summer break! The group meets online via Zoom for two class meetings per week:

Tuesdays, 5–6pm and Saturdays, 11am–12pm

The group is open to all non-native English language speakers who are interested in developing their speaking fluency. Students or individuals with varying levels of English proficiency are welcome.

If you're considering joining the group, stop by our Welcoming Week Open House sessions on Tuesday September 17 and Saturday September 21. We will showcase the group’s English language learners, many of whom are newcomers and immigrants to our community. Following the brief Open House, learners are welcome to stay to practice their English proficiency.

LIBRARY CARD SIGN UP MONTH

Nationwide, September is Library Card Sign-up Month. There is nothing more empowering than getting your own library card that gives you access to technology, resources, and services to pursue your passions and dreams.

You may not need to be convinced of the worlds that are opened up with your library card, but maybe your friends need a little nudge? Here are some of the many things you can do with your library card:

Don't have a card? Sign up here. If you DO have a card, forward this email along to your friends so that we can add them to our library family!
