We are pleased to announce that the MTSD Board of Education has approved the recommendation that Eric Ebert be named the next principal of Homestead High School.
Eric was appointed as Homestead's interim principal in August 2019. With the opportunity to lead the high school, Eric has demonstrated his ability to be solutions-focused while building relationships with stakeholders, including students, staff members, and families. With a mindset of continuous improvement, Eric is poised to continue Homesteadโs tradition of excellence while increasing its culture of belonging for all students and staff members.
Eric earned a Master of Business Administration with a focus on educational leadership through Milwaukee School of Engineering as well as a Master of Science in Educational Psychology through the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He served in the role of assistant principal at Homestead High School during the 2017-18 and 2018-19 school years. Prior to his time in the Mequon-Thiensville School District, he served for 10 years as a social studies teacher at Hamilton High School. During his tenure at Hamilton High School, he worked extensively with the College Board as a consultant and leader for Advanced Placement exams. Congratulations Mr. Ebert!
