What’s not normal is that we won’t be getting together at the end of this month like we do every year. I will miss shaking hands and seeing all of your smiling faces.
In Expo’s place, I am personally excited to announce our Four Corners Virtual Expo on September 30. This event is a collaboration between AzPPA and the Rocky Mountain Promotional Products Association (RMRPPA). Our teams are working together to put on a fresh event unlike any industry virtual tradeshows you’ve seen to date, with exciting keynotes and interviews, streaming content throughout the day, and all your favorite suppliers, service providers, and multi-line reps in live booths ready to show you the latest and greatest they have to offer!
And, best of all, this event will be free for members! Keep your eyes peeled for email details from our team. Registration opens September 1st and I encourage you to do so early! The first 150 donating distributor member attendees will receive a pre-show sample box from participating show sponsors and an invitation to a special unboxing event!
I also would like to personally thank everyone who participated in our donation drive for Maggie’s Place. Coordinators Anna Weise (Imagen Brands, Supplier) and Stephanie Sporbert (HP2 Promo, Distributor) had their vehicles overflowing with much needed supplies for valley families in need. A very special thanks to them as well as to members Brown & Bigelow, HP2 Promo, Sunstate Embroidery/AZ Hot Tees, and McCreary’s Tees for hosting drop off collection points.
AzPPA is a volunteer-driven association. We have many Directors spots that need to be filled for the 2021-2022 term. If you or someone in your organization would be interested in helping direct on our marketing, fundraising, events and education, tradeshow, volunteer coordination, or philanthropy teams, please reach out to us. Oh – and if you don’t want to be a director but are willing to volunteer and contribute on some of our committee work, let us know as well. This is your association and you may have that extraordinary, awesome idea we’ve been looking for!
