At this time we would like to take this opportunity to introduce Cynthia Pizzulli, LCSW, Ph.D. to The Life Center. Dr. Pizzulli is a psychotherapist with more than 20 years of experience. In addition to receiving her Ph.D. from NYU, Cynthia is a Board Certified Diplomat (BCD) and an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist. She is honored to be part of the adjunct faculty for both Adelphi and Stony Brook Universities' Schools of Social Work. Cynthia is a practitioner with a unique perspective,
having
a background ranging from business to mental health. An experienced lecturer, she trails widely to deliver workshops covering a diverse range of topics. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, Newsday, and on HBO, Lifetime and Oxygen. Her areas of expertise include: couples/relationship problems, eating disorders, sexual issues/dysfunctions, personality disorders, conflict resolution, LGBTQ issues, parenting adolescents, and executive coaching. A therapist who believes there is not just "one way" to do treatment, she uses an integrative approach to helping her patients.
