Located in the heart of Toronto, Culinarium Italian Culinary Studio is an award-winning venue offering Italian cooking classes and events to locals and visitors alike.
Founded in 2019 by Chef Luciano Schipano, Culinarium’s mission is to share the joy and pleasures of Italian cuisine with food lovers around the world. Chef Schipano hails from a long line of Italici, which translates to Italians living outside of Italy.
With a passion for learning and teaching, Chef Schipano has built Culinarium around principles of the gastronomic tradition. He offers a multi-level taste education program that ranges from simple Italian cooking to complex regional dishes. Courses cover soups, salads, appetizers, main coursed, desserts, and more.
Besides cooking classes, Culinarium also offers tasting experiences, private events, corporate services, and wine and cheese seminars. All courses taught at Culinarium emphasize traditional Italian approaches to cooking, exploring the unique culinary customs of the various regions of Italy.
Through his classes, guests can learn how to create succulent dishes from Calabria, Abruzzo, Tuscany, Puglia, Sicily, and even the smaller regions. Culinarium’s cooking studio boasts state-of-the-art appliances, tools, and equipment. Guests will learn traditional Italian recipes with the help of professional chefs, hands-on guidance, and plentiful food tastings and pairings.
